Climate:

Since the opening of the 18 new holes, the Alcaidesa golf course now boasts a superb double round of 36 holes. The Alcaidesa links golf course boasts stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Rock of Gibraltar and the mountains of North Africa. At some of the holes the beach, the sea and the golf course meet, offering players a unique experience that not many courses in the world can match.
The superb new Casa Club, the specialised shops and its ideal location near the Valderrama (Ryder Cup 1997), Sotogrande, Almenara and San Roque Club golf courses, make the Alcaidesa course a perfect meeting point for amateurs and professionals alike right in the heart of the Golf Coast. Here you will find a wider variety of golf courses than on any other part of the coast.

Polo lovers will also be able to enjoy this sport in one of Spain's most important Polo clubs, Sotogrande's Santa María Polo Club, only 5 Km away.

Beaches:

La Alcaidesa beach is unique. 4,000 metres of sand and crystal clear waters with their gentle currents for you to relax and enjoy the sun and tranquility. .

Visitors are welcomed by these idyllic surroundings of contrasts and colors: the green of the golf course that meets the sand, the Rock of Gibraltar jutting out from the sea, the outline of the mountain ranges and, in the horizon, the distant mountains of North Africa.

Alcaidesa beach offers all the services and facilities that can be expected of a high quality beach. High standards are guaranteed with the Blue Flag, awarded some years ago by the European Union.

Tourism:

La Alcaidesa lies near the delightful white-washed villages of the Cadiz and Malaga mountains, impressive Andalusian scenery to be enjoyed. The famous village of Ronda as well as the villages of Casares, Jimena de la Frontera, Castellar de la Frontera, Gaucin, Arcos de la Frontera, etc., all offer the visitor a real authentic Andalusian experience.
